Are you a Food`ie, Cooker or a Baker?
Its difficult to think that even everyday people are now categorized by how and what they cook! A lot of people are considered all three, myself included. Regardless of how you define yourself, all three of these food categories have one thing in common. They all involve food and food dishes start with a recipe. Weather it’s a written recipe, or one stored in one’s memory, Its a Recipe!
Every family has tried and true recipes, handed down over the years. Some placed neatly in recipe boxes, some scribbled on tattered stained pieces of paper tucked away in a shoe box, to be cherished more and more as the years goes by.
Whatever your method of keeping recipes, keep them safe. Recipes that have been passed down through the generations in your family, have created memories, wonderful, precious memories, tied with them.
Many of our recipes have been shared by family and friends. Others We have collected from Recipe Books, Church Cookbooks, News Papers, Magazine Articles, and various other places.
We have a “Share A Recipe” Â Feature, If you would like to share a recipe or if a recipe has a special meaning or story behind it, please let us know.
We hope you enjoy our recipes, and maybe you’ll stir up a memory or two when you see a recipe that has a special meaning for you.
